DidItWhen does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with the developer or any third party.
What DidItWhen stores
All data you create in DidItWhen — your tasks, completion records, categories, and your settings — is stored locally on your device and synced privately through your iCloud account to your other devices, using Apple's CloudKit private database. This data is visible only to you, on devices signed into your iCloud account. The developer cannot access it, and it is not shared with any other party.
iCloud backups
DidItWhen can save backup copies of your data as files in your own iCloud Drive, both automatically once a day and whenever you make one yourself. These files belong to you, and the developer cannot access them. DidItWhen keeps the ten most recent backups and removes older ones.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your data stays on your devices and in your own iCloud account, for as long as you choose to keep it. The developer keeps nothing: there is no DidItWhen server and no account with us, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete.
You can delete any task, and its history, in the app at any time. Deleting DidItWhen from a device removes the data stored on that device. To also remove the copy kept in iCloud, delete the app's data in iCloud settings (Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage on iPhone and iPad), and delete any backup files in iCloud Drive.
Notifications
DidItWhen uses local notifications to remind you when a task is due. The notification content is generated on your device and never leaves it. DidItWhen does not use remote (push) notifications or any analytics around notification engagement.
Analytics and tracking
DidItWhen does not include any analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers, or tracking technologies. There is no third-party code in the app.
Children's privacy
DidItWhen is suitable for users of all ages and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated text will be published at the same URL with an updated "Last updated" date above.
